Caneros Del Este (LNB) signed 24-year old naturalized American guard Matthew Herasme (193cm-88kg-2000, college: UNH) for upcoming 2024 season. He played last summer at San Carlos in the TBS. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
Herasme represented Dominican Republic at the FIBA Americas Championship U18 in St. Catharines (Canada) six years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 4.2ppg, 2.4rpg, 1.4apg.
He graduated from University of New Hampshire in 2023 and it will be his second season as a professional player. Herasme played also for Marist College for 4 years.
